CRANE OCR

Home - CRANE OCR

Introduction :

Crane OCR of SURAJ INFORMATICS automatically identifies the details of containers and equipment during loading and unloading the landing operations.

Our fully integrated Crane OCR System, which automatically reads and registers the ISO code of containers, is the way it is handled by the STS Crane. The Crane OCR System joins the Crane Program Logic Control (PLC) system to activate and process data. The sophisticated image seizure and recognition system is fixed straight on the crane and interfaces with the crane control system.

The advantages of Crane Management Service or OCR installation on cranes are numerous, but there is a significant reduction in the number of employees below the cranes, one of the unsafe jobs in the terminal. Those examitters or colleagues responsible for registering and unloading container numbers may be placed remotely in a secure working environment. Because Crane OCR automatically connects containers with a very high degree of accuracy, only exceptions must be handled by human intervention, and, if necessary, you can conduct remote exception management on the building’s security.

What Is C-Crane?

C-Crane systems consist of all hardware and software components intended for direct connection to container processing equipment. Can offer a rich set of possible elements, including; Damaging images, door direction, dangerous labels, and reading and reporting UTR (terminal tractor) numbers to which the container is being moved. This system also runs operations in which the cranes are either platform-or without platform.

Our Crane OCR System includes a series of durable digital excellent performance camera blocks attached to crane constructions designed to handle all standard size containers. This container code information is processed by the crane computer that is connected to the crane.

Container OCR results, as well as all other advanced inputs that are offered, are collected and then transferred to a central server. Container OCR results are delivered within seconds for the TOS, and include data required for the operation, including container number, size/type, file path to images, and other important information.

Crane OCR is a clear mandate for terminal automated operations. But even for manual terminals that want to increase productivity and safety, the Crane OCR solution allows the automatic release and confirmation of parking instructions and Work orders from the TOS in real time.

Advantages of Crane OCR :

Crane OCR System can match container numbers with the job manifest to confirm the OCR results. Container OCR numbers and images are marked to support physical checks. Crane OCR System’s main advantages:

  • Automatic registration of container loading and unloading events
  • Door direction to better prepare and operate operations
  • UTR reading ensures higher efficiency levels in the yard and tracing accurate containers
  • Eradates work carried out by a berth worker or assessor at a berth crane, leading to increased safety and increased insurance premiums due to increased safety of workers
  • Allows to reduce labor associated with the movement of containers at the pier, thereby increasing efficiency
  • Eliminates the need to physically inspect each container by switching only to the exception analysis
  • Enables data processing in real time

Crane OCR mixes with PASS Navigator GOS to provide an exception and daily monitoring of remote processing. In short, Container OCR Solutions enabled port operator to realize the benefits like increase efficiency and productivity for the crane operation, reduce future maintenance cost, visualize the remote container OCR system status anytime, anywhere and ensure network reliability.

SURAJ INFORMATICS has deployed Crane OCR System on more than hundreds of cranes around the world, including various types of crane manufacturers, disperser configurations and mode of operation.
