REDUCE THE CHANCE OF COLLISION IN PORTS

Reduce the chance of a collision in ports and terminals:

Every year, more than 6 million trucks and trailers transporting more than 500 million tonnes of freight travel through various ports all over the world.
It’s never been more important to keep the employees safe. Vehicles transporting massive loads are much more likely to collide with pedestrians. The driver’s vision may be blurred or limited when carrying large loads, particularly when driving around blind angles or working in congested or confined spaces. A range stacker crash can have catastrophic and life-altering effects.

Unfortunately, accidents can happen, and people have been critically injured or killed by a massive industrial truck driver who was unaware that a pedestrian was nearby.
Suraj Informatics uses RFID technology to create a 360-degree tracking zone around a car or asset, often known as a danger zone or crash risk zone.
Single or several zones with a detection range of 3-9 metres may be mounted using detection antennas.

  • Antenna mounted on the vehicle – has a 360-degree tracking field around the vehicle.
  • Vehicle Control Box – includes a visually audible warning for the designated personnel’s driver in the car.
  • Personnel Tags – Personnel wear tags that the vehicles detect and lift the alarm.

With a variety of options for permanent or temporary instals, our Warning System can be mounted on all vehicle types in ports and terminals, including forklifts, cargo handlers, forklifts, and terminal tugs.
Suraj Informatics can be used at Crossings and Walkways to warn incoming cars, which can then be used in conjunction with access control to avoid illegal access to the site and protect properties from vehicle crashes and high-risk areas.
