Real-Time Location System (RTLS)
Real-time locating systems (RTLS), also called real-time tracking systems, allow the position of persons or objects to be automatically identified and tracked in real time. Usually, this is carried out inside a structure or another confined area. In the preponderance of RTLS devices, fixed reference points locate themselves using wireless signals from tags. Sewn-on wireless RTLS tags are used to identify items and persons. For example, real-time locating systems are used to locate medical supplies in a hospital, identify product pallets in a warehouse, and monitor cars on an assembly line.
The physical layer of RTLS technology is commonly implemented using radiofrequency (RF) transmission.
The term “real-time local positioning system,” or simply “RTLS,” is not frequently associated with GPS or mobile phone tracking. In most cases, location data is devoid of information about direction, speed, and spatial alignment.
Suraj Informatics RTLS gives you the freedom to design your own digitalization plan, accelerating the transformation of your production and logistics.
Deploy RTLS fast and with little configuration.
